Amy Qian

Amy assists in the fund-raising as well as engages in extensive researches on the LPs & GPs in the region. She also closely monitors private equity industry and market trends in Asia.

Prior to joining Capstone, Amy was an Associate with Heidrick & Struggles, based in Shanghai. She focused on fund placement practice in China, in addition to serving the recruitment needs of Private Equity / Venture Capital firms and their portfolio companies. She also placed CFO and Finance Controllers.

Before her tenure at Heidrick & Struggles, Amy worked for Home Depot in Shanghai as Assistant HR Manager, primarily responsible for recruitment, compensation and benefits. She participated in the due diligence and transaction of several M&A projects and played an active role in integration of a local company into Home Depot. Before that, she worked for White & Case as a Paralegal and conducted various researches on how to do business in China.

She obtained her dual Bachelor degrees in English and Applied Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She has also finished the Master program of Applied Psychology at Shanghai East China Normal University.
